Lightning is built on top of Bitcoin and allows transactions to occur quickly and efficiently, without intermediaries. It enables value to move across space with minimal friction — privately, directly, and in real time.
The SN 2140 is the first mechanical watch and personal object where this capability is embedded. It is done discreetly within the watch’s sapphire glass. A transaction is initiated by the same simple wrist movement used to read the time, when intention is present.
There are no screens, no notifications, no pairing procedures, and no interfaces to manage.
The cushion-inspired case of SN 2140 is crafted in titanium, chosen for its lightness, durability, and comfort in daily wear.
The upper surfaces features a frosted finish that softens reflections and reinforces clarity of form, while the polished caseback introduces a contrasting surface in contact with the wrist. The caseback incorporates a sapphire crystal porthole revealing the mechanical movement, along with engraved serial number, Bitcoin and Lightning symbols, and the Bitcoin motto VIRES IN NUMERIS (“strength in numbers”).
Despite its solid presence, total weight is just 43 grams, allowing the watch to settle naturally on the wrist and remain present without feeling heavy or insistent.
